ABPHOS 100S is a mildly acidic, free-flowing, white powder, readily soluble in water. ABPHOS 100S is designed to clean and phosphate in a single operation . It is ideally suited to surface preparation of iron, zinc and aluminium components, prior to painting and other organic coating applications. ABPHOS 100S will simultaneously remove grease and light oxide films, and deposit a highly adherent layer of amorphous iron phosphate. The resultant coating is grey to blue-iridescent in colour with a deposit weight of 40 – 80 milligrams per square foot (0.43 – 0.85 grammes per square metre). Developed primarily for spray and power wash applications, ABPHOS 100S may also be used by simple, immersion techniques.
