ABPHOS 700Z

ABPHOS 600Z is a versatile zinc phosphate process developed to produce, by immersion, low coating weight, finegrained deposits on ferrous metals. The coatings produced from the ABPHOS 600Z process provide excellent surfaces for subsequent painting or lubrication applications. ABPHOS 600Z contains crystal refining agents to eliminate the coarsening effect of pre-treatment in strongly acidic or alkaline solution. This ensures consistently even, fine-grained finishes.  ABPHOS 600Z may be worked fully accelerated i.e. "on the nitrite side”, producing coatings which meet the requirements of BS3189 -1973 Type 3 and DEF Stan 03-11/1 Class III.  Alternatively, the process may be operated “on the iron side” to produce slightly heavier coatings which meet the requirements of BS3189 -1973 Type 2 and DEF Stan 03-11/1 Class II.  (For this application refer to the separate Data Sheet).

ABPHOS 800Z is a specially developed immersion zinc phosphate process designed to produce heavy, corrosion-resistant coatings on ferrous metals. Coating weights of up to 30g per square metre may be comfortably achieved. The dense, even, crystalline deposit produced is ideal for use with organic protectives. The unique formulation of ABPHOS 800Z provides a single additive process, exhibiting a high tolerance for iron in solution, coupled with low sludging characteristics.
