Tri-Prep 4 is an alkaline cleaner which does not etch the aluminium. On extruded aluminium it will remove magnesium oxide and prevent preferential etching. It will also remove polishing compounds from stainless steel and is a suitable mild cleaner for steels and zinc. Complies with DEF STAN 03-2/3 Method B.2(ii)
